Job Summary
The Sales Manager drives revenue for hotel-event opportunities by proactively soliciting and securing business through a consultative approach, delivering quotes/proposals, and collaborating with vendors and hotel teams to service events. Responsibilities include site visits, pre-conference planning, understanding event cost structures, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. Key skills include hospitality industry knowledge, audiovisual sales experience (a plus), technical proficiency, and strong written/verbal communication to build relationships with venue personnel and customers while aligning with Encore’s SOPs and product offerings.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience required
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
