Job Summary
Solicit and secure business through a proactive, consultative sales approach using Encore's methodology, preparing and presenting quotes and proposals to customers via the venue booking system or other sources. Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events, while attending site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support the customer experience. Cultivate relationships with key hotel personnel and customers by researching their history, addressing their concerns, and ensuring accurate data in the CRM system. Maintain a healthy pipeline to achieve revenue targets, support sales forecasting efforts, and refer customers through the Encore network.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to meet physical demands including sitting 4-5 hours per day
- Must be able to meet physical demands including standing 2-3 hours per day
- Must be able to meet physical demands including walking 2-3 hours per day
- Must be able to meet physical demands including stooping 0-1 hour per day

- Must be able to work in multiple hotel locations
- Must be able to work irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes
