Job Summary
Event Sales Managers at DineAmic Hospitality drive growth by fielding inbound event leads, selling and overseeing contract events both on- and off-premise, and collaborating with the Executive Chef and General Manager to price and execute profitable events. The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, negotiating solutions for food, beverage, and space needs, managing multiple projects with strict budgets, and supporting marketing efforts to promote private and special events. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written skills are required, with experience in hospitality sales and familiarity with marketing campaigns, social media, and data-driven analysis to increase sales and attendance. On-site at DineAmic restaurants and corporate office in the Chicago area, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. The position offers full-time status with commission and bonus potential and requires at least 5 years of event sales management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field and/or equivalent experience
- High-volume hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Chicago area, including major business presences
- Flexible with scheduling, including evening and weekend hours
- Ability to lift, carry up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Tripleseat, OpenTable, and Toast POS
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
- Dependable and responsible with a strong attention to detail
