Event Sales Director

Job Summary
Lead all private event sales efforts with a primary focus on weddings, social events, and corporate functions to maximize club revenue through new business and customer acquisition. Drive the sales strategy to achieve annual revenue goals and event bookings, manage inquiries from wedding/event platforms, conduct venue tours, prepare and negotiate contracts, and maintain accurate forecasting. Oversee a high-volume wedding business (100+ weddings annually), build relationships with clients, vendors, planners, and community partners, mentor event coordinators, collaborate with operations and catering teams for flawless execution, analyze performance metrics, and develop pricing, packages, and promotions. Maintain an active, professional presence across social media and wedding-focused sites to generate leads and visibility. Attend bridal shows and industry events to generate opportunities and prepare regular sales reports for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of commissioned sales experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience in prospecting, negotiating and closing new business
- CRM and funnel management tools experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in leading others preferred
- Ability to set high goals and drive results
