Job Summary

The Event Representative will drive market engagement and sales at local events as a brand ambassador for Optimum, coordinating community-focused activities, developing partnerships with local organizations, and meeting or exceeding sales targets through event-driven lead generation and customer engagement. Responsibilities include representing the company at events and networking functions, collaborating with Area Marketing on partnerships, planning market-specific initiatives (sponsorships, pop-up events, and community outreach campaigns), prospecting and closing deals, identifying customer needs and tailoring solutions, ensuring positive customer experiences at events, training new staff, sharing best practices with regional teams, and reporting event success via KPIs (interactions, leads, sales). Qualifications emphasize a degree in Marketing/Communications (preferred), event coordination or sales experience, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, independence and teamwork, organizational skills, and availability for evenings/weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in event coordination, sales, or community outreach.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and sales skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
