Event Registration Technician needed as an Independent Contractor to manage on-site event registration, provide technical support, and ensure a seamless experience for attendees. Requires 2 years of relevant experience and the ability to travel. Compensation ranges from $25 to $50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, event registration, technical support, or a related field.
- Proficiency with event registration platforms (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, RegFox) and familiarity with hardware setup (e.g., printers, scanners, Wi-Fi networks).
- Strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with attendees and event staff professionally.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing event requirements.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations or certifications in event management software
