Job Summary
Operate sound, lighting and power systems for live, virtual, and hybrid events; lead as Site Technician during live events, overseeing setup, testing, operation, and pack-down of sound, lighting, and power systems. Program and operate lighting consoles, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safe, compliant operations. Maintain equipment lifecycle in warehouse and on-site, provide pre-show sound checks and lighting tests, and deliver high-quality live audio and lighting to enhance performances. Advise Account Managers on complex technical elements, support event logistics with equipment delivery/collection, brief freelance crew, and maintain clear client communication on site. Requires 5+ years in live events, 3+ years as a lighting engineer in the corporate sector, knowledge of live equipment (lighting, sound, rigging, power, logistics), and a full driving licence; ability to work overnight and extended hours; health and safety compliance; UK location in Knockin, Shropshire.
