Job Summary
Coordinate all aspects of resort events from initial planning to execution, acting as a liaison between customers and sales personnel to supervise meeting and banquet event execution. Directly serve group and catering customers by managing room blocks, food and beverage coordination, meeting space logistics, and billing processes. Available on-site during resort functions to solve problems and suggest alternatives to previous arrangements. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two years of hotel event sales experience, and one year of food and beverage experience. Salary range is $75,000 to $80,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of hotel/resort event sales experience
- 1-year food and beverage experience
- Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
- Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office
- Present a professional appearance and confidence
- Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems (such as hotel event management software)
- Pre-employment drug test
