Job Summary
Senior Event Planner at JPMorgan Chase oversees meetings and events in the Firm's Client Center, coordinating logistics, supervising conference center planners, and delivering service excellence while upholding global standards. Responsibilities include managing meetings, providing personalized service to clients and employees, addressing client challenges, leading a team, assisting with staff coverage and daily projects, participating in operations reviews, coordinating pre/post conference calls, ensuring optimal space usage, conducting staff reviews and identifying training needs, covering the reception desk as needed, mastering the EMS reservation and reporting system, and collaborating with Technology and Regional Management to deliver an outstanding user experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in Luxury Hospitality Industry, Event Planning and Food & Beverage with high touch customer service
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage with clients and employees professionally and warmly
- Proven ability to manage client experiences and expectations with tact and diplomacy
- Highly organized with multitasking and prioritization
- Proven experience in managing and developing a team including performance reviews
- Working knowledge of audio-visual systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts to cover client center hours and locations
