Job Summary
Respond to emergent and non-emergent medical requests and public safety concerns at The Gorge, delivering on-site Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in accordance with established protocols. Conduct thorough patient assessments, coordinate transport to higher levels of care, and utilize medical equipment including airway supplies, IVs, and stretchers to provide safe, high-quality treatment. Communicate clearly with patients, venue staff, dispatch, and responding agencies while completing required patient care reports and statistical data. Operate company vehicles, perform shift equipment checks, monitor medical stations, and maintain stocked, clean response gear. Report vehicle deficiencies or mechanical failures immediately to the Supervisor. Maintain current Washington State Paramedic credentials, ACLS certification, and required training. Starting pay is $27.06/hr, with a range up to $37.30/hr DOE.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License (Driving record in compliance with company policy)
- Washington State Paramedic credential
- NREMT – P
- CPR/BLS certification (AHA)
- ACLS Certification
- Ability to pass a PAT (Physical Agility Test)
- 1+ years experience as an ALS provider
- 911 Experience
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Effective customer service skills
- A working understanding special event operations and customer service
- Strong listening and comprehension abilities, adaptability to quickly evolving situations, and strong decision-making ability
- Other certifications as required by local City, County or State
Desired Qualifications
- NREMT – P (Preferred) (Required to initially obtain WA State Paramedic License)
- 1+ years experience as an ALS provider preferred
- 911 Experience preferred
