Job Summary
Organize daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of audiovisual equipment while directing technician workflows. Lead the technical team in troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and managing secure storage and transportation of gear. Provide mentorship to new hires, update flowsheets, and attend venue meetings to coordinate event communications. Monitor events on-site to meet guest needs and uphold service standards. Requires 3-5 years of AV experience and a Bachelor's degree. Irregular hours, on-call status, and weekend/holiday work are standard.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 year of audio-visual experience
- Knowledge of technical theory
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Experience leading workflow and team members
- A valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to meet the physical demands outlined below to successfully perform the essential job functions
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore
- Must be able to work in multiple hotel locations
- Must adhere to irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
