Job Summary
Event Operations Supervisor for the 3rd shift at the San Diego Convention Center. Oversees Cleaning and Building Services staff, plans and supervises work assignments for efficient setup/breakdown and cleaning during events, trains staff in performance standards and safety, and uses CMMS and smartphone-based apps to manage staffing and tasks. Requires an Associate degree or equivalent and at least one year of supervisory experience; must work 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:30am) and may rotate to evenings, weekends, and holidays. Direct supervision of 5 to 100 employees, ensuring quality standards, safety, and operational continuity across shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; one year of direct supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the hospitality, sports facility, concert venue, or convention industry.
