Event Operations Manager

Job Summary
Manage all aspects of conferences, meetings, and events in the UK, including pre-planning, onsite execution, and post-event wrap-up. Lead show-specific financial management through budget creation, revenue/expense monitoring, and forecasting. Coordinate with contractors, venues, and vendors to arrange food, AV, security, and logistics while negotiating contracts for room rates and services. Develop attendee journey maps, manage sponsor tracking and floor plans, and oversee registration processes. Maintain master event files, monitor onsite functions, and ensure compliance with H&S and facility agreements. Travel domestically and internationally as needed, working overtime to support client meetings and event demands.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in event production, hospitality or high-end meeting/conference planning
- Working knowledge of personal computers and MS Office
- Contract negotiations and implementation experience
- Experience with hotel and/or banquet sales or facilities management and planning
- Ability to travel
- Must be authorized to work in the UK without sponsorship now or in the future
