Event Manager - Rochester (NY)

Part-time onsite Event Manager for Candlelight Concerts in Rochester, NY. Manage onsite operations for Fever’s Candlelight events, including acting as main point of contact, coordinating staff rosters, ensuring staff are trained for duties (ticket validation, guest seating, candles setup), driving a uHaul to venues when needed, overseeing inventory and printing, managing guest lists, delivering opening remarks (and occasional public speaking), and providing weekly status reports to Fever Originals Project Managers. Role runs weekly (Wednesdays and Fridays) with concerts 4-8 hours per day, up to 29 hours per week; contract starting soon for 6 months with potential extension. Rate is 25 per hour. Requires 1+ years event management experience and a valid driver’s license (preferred). Strong customer service, leadership of on-site teams, problem-solving, and comfort working under pressure are expected; AV/PA knowledge is desirable and a personal laptop is required.
