Job Summary
Develop and implement event plans and concepts while coordinating logistics for venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation. Manage event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers. Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown operations, leading staff and volunteers to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and maximize attendance. Evaluate success through feedback and data analysis to implement improvements. Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Requires 2-3 years of experience in high-volume hotels or resorts, including large-scale banquets and weddings.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience as an Event Manager in a high-volume hotel, resort, or golf club
- Minimum of 2 years experience in large-scale Banquets
- Highly organized
- Ability to read and decipher BEOs
- Ability to stand, walk, lift and bend frequently
- Developed English skills both written and orally
Desired Qualifications
- Degree, certification or training in Hotel and Restaurant Management or related is a plus
- Experience with weddings/social and corporate events
