Job Summary
Oversee event day operations for smaller events and concurrent venue dates across Dallas locations, leading front-line security personnel and ensuring client security needs are met. Manage staff sign-in/sign-out processes, coordinate post-event payroll, and deliver pre-event briefings to groups ranging from small teams to 600+ personnel. Proactively identify safety risks, mitigate guest and staff hazards, and ensure strict adherence to Federal and State OSHA regulations while acting as the primary lead for the Account Manager. Submit formal equipment requests 45 days in advance and evaluate monthly event metrics to coach supervisors on performance issues. Work a dynamic, event-driven schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (ideally in Sports/Entertainment Management, Business, or related field)
- 3+ years of guest and event services experience in stadiums, arenas, theme parks, hotels, or high-volume hospitality/entertainment facilities
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience coaching a diverse workforce
- Ability to obtain FEMA Certifications (100b, 200b, 700a, 800b, 901) and IAVM Trained Crowd Manager certification
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with basic accounting/budget oversight principles
- Comfortable speaking and delivering briefings to crowds of up to 600+ team members
- Proven ability to proactively resolve operational challenges autonomously under fast-paced conditions
- Exceptional, professional communication skills with strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to stand, walk, and navigate large venue spaces for extended shifts
- Ability to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with staff and venue clients
- Occasional lifting of small equipment
- Travel to regional sites as needed
