Job Summary
Part-time onsite Event Manager for Candlelight Concerts in Buffalo (NY). Serve as the on-site point of contact, manage staff rosters and scheduling, ensure staff training for duties (ticket validation, guest seating, candle setup), handle event logistics (inventory, printing, guest lists), assist with public speaking openings/closings, and coordinate transport of supplies. Drive or coordinate alternate transport if needed; provide weekly status reports; participate in venue walk-throughs; represent Fever and Candlelight brands with professional communication. Compensation is $25/hour with a 6-month contract; shows run 4-8 hours/day, up to 29 hours/week.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in event management or a relevant degree
- Experience leading an on-site team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of AV and PA systems (desirable)
- Driver's license (preferred)
- Proficiency with a personal laptop
