Job Summary
The Event Facilities Associate at the San Antonio Botanical Garden is responsible for the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring event areas are maintained and ready. Requires communication skills, teamwork, and flexibility to work various hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed for site visits or events.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, bend, kneel, and squat as needed.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in event setup, hospitality, catering, AV or a related operational support role.
- Bi-lingual or multi-lingual is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
