Event Executive (Restaurant Reservation)

Job Summary
Answer telephone calls, emails, and online reservation requests promptly. Manage reservations using systems like OpenTable or SevenRooms, confirming, modifying, and canceling bookings as requested. Coordinate table assignments with the Restaurant Manager and Host/Hostess while welcoming guests and assisting with seating during busy periods. Handle VIP guests, special occasions, and dining requests, informing guests of policies, hours, and promotions. Maximize table occupancy, follow up on no-shows, and address guest complaints professionally. Maintain accurate records, ensure SOP compliance, and collaborate with Food & Bev and Kitchen teams. Work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in restaurant reservations, guest relations, front office, or food & beverage operations
- Proficiency in reservation management systems (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms, ResDiary, Bookenda, or similar)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong telephone etiquette and customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Professional grooming, positive attitude, and commitment to hospitality standards
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
