Job Summary
Event Director responsible for driving rental revenue and delivering exceptional client experiences from inquiry through event execution. Lead client discovery calls, showroom appointments, and site visits; build customized rental proposals; guide clients through product selections and upsell opportunities; ensure seamless communication across client and internal teams; manage contracts, timelines, and event details; maintain organized client records; collaborate with Business Development, CAD, Inventory, Operations, and Sales Support to develop accurate event scopes and execution plans; support revenue growth and sales initiatives; track timelines and client requests to meet deadlines; resolve client concerns with a solutions-focused mindset; deliver exceptional service to foster repeat business and long-term client relationships; share client feedback and operational insights with leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in event rentals, hospitality, event planning, sales, or client relationship management
- Strong knowledge of event rental products, event logistics, and client service best practices
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships while managing multiple projects
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, and follow-through skills
- Strong sales and consultative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments while remaining adaptable and detail-oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/order management systems
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and attend offsite meetings or site visits as needed
