Event Designer - Lake House Inn

The Lake House Inn seeks a part-time Event Designer to lead client-facing event planning for JAM’s weddings and special events in Perkasie, PA. Responsibilities include acting as the main client contact after introduction by the Venue Manager, coordinating menu development, tastings, floor plans, venue walkthroughs, and day-of event execution; responding to client emails; completing planning forms; and supporting various administrative duties across the season. The role combines in-person event coordination with a predominantly remote workflow for communications, scheduling, and virtual meetings. Qualifications emphasize 2-4 years of planning/events experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Chrome for planning documentation, a personal laptop (PC preferred), a valid driver’s license, strong organization and customer-service skills, and the ability to work weekends with flexible weekday/evening availability. Training is provided over 6-8 months with mentorship; the role anticipates planning 15-20 events per season, beginning in 2027, with hybrid work including at-site event days and remote client interactions.
