Job Summary
Event Coordinator at RIDE responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events such as trade shows, product launches, customer meetings, industry conferences, and corporate functions. Collaborates with sales, engineering, and leadership to align event objectives with business goals, manages venues and vendors, negotiates contracts, develops marketing materials with the marketing team, oversees on-site logistics, and analyzes post-event ROI and engagement. Focuses on sustainability and delivering high-quality attendee experiences while handling budgets, timelines, and cross-functional coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in event planning, preferably in the automotive, technology, or sustainability sectors.
- Strong understanding of event logistics, vendor relations, and budget management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners and software knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, etc.).
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude, with attention to detail in every aspect of event execution.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with event management software and digital tools (Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.).
- Familiarity with design software (Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, Premier, etc.).
- Passion for sustainability and electric transportation, with a genuine interest in contributing to the clean energy movement.
