Job Summary
Huddle with the sales team prior to events to inform staff of major details, then co-host with the Event Manager while managing the vibe, music, and coat check. Assist with setup and breakdown, including charcuterie, signage, and food prep, while ensuring the bar remains private for guests and monitoring the sales floor for wrangler pairings. Ring up merchandise sales under the EV referral code and ensure payments process correctly per contract. Know event pricing, guest capacity, and merchandise credits to answer guest questions, and send follow-up emails to the full team to confirm information. Travel to other stores to cover events during busy holidays or when staff is sick, and send receipts, recaps, and financial reports to clients and store leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Be flexible to help cover events during busy holidays/weekends or when staff is sick
- Assist with event emails when necessary or during vacations
- Travel to other stores to help with events when necessary
- Know all event pricing and procedures
- Know the guest count that the event space can accommodate
- Answer basic event questions if asked (pricing, available add ons, buyout options, etc.)
- Have a basic knowledge of merchandise (hat pricing, boot pricing, starting belt pricing etc)
- Have a basic knowledge of how merchandise credits work with events (standard amounts and what that covers & how events team handles master gift card)
