Job Summary
Event Coordinator at Greenacres Foundation to design and execute a broad range of experiences, from educational programs and community gatherings to concerts, fundraising events, and venue rentals. Collaborate with staff across departments, support Events Managers with planning and logistics, partner with Marketing on event promotion, assist with on-site execution, and ensure events are aligned with the organization’s mission and brand. Responsibilities include developing timelines and run-of-show materials, coordinating vendors, rentals, catering, entertainment, and on-site logistics; assisting with event landing pages and registration; providing on-site support during events; driving post-event breakdown and quality assurance. Requires associate’s degree or equivalent experience, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask, customer-service orientation, willingness to work evenings/weekends, and ability to travel to multiple Greenacres sites; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environments; represents the organization with professionalism and a focus on mission-aligned, high-quality guest experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field or relevant experience in events, hospitality, marketing, customer service, or a similar area; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
- Professional communication skills
- Interest in community-focused, mission-driven work
- Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on event calendar and able to work evenings and weekends regularly
- Ability to be on-site for the duration of events, including setup and breakdown
- Ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting up to 50 pounds and varied indoor/outdoor environments

- Ability to travel to multiple Greenacres sites and campuses as needed
