Job Summary
The Event Coordinator will manage, schedule, and oversee shows and events, along with local marketing efforts. Responsibilities include researching divisional events, reviewing staffing needs, hiring and training event demonstrators, supervising personnel, overseeing booth setups and tear downs, ensuring display repairs, managing budgets, and demonstrating products to customers. The role requires an associates degree, 2-5 years in retail management or sales, effective communication, organizational skills, and a valid driver's license. Physical demands include lifting 40 lbs and standing for extended periods, with a focus on working evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Business Management or related field
- 2-5 years’ experience in retail management and/or Sales
- Must hold valid driver’s license
- Have a clean driving record
- Ability to travel to events in Division by personal vehicle
- Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs while assisting with booth set up/tear down
- Able to work standard retail hours, including evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction industry preferred
- Ability to lead a team of show promoters
- Able to oversee a budget
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
