Job Summary
Execute banquet-style events independently by setting up kitchen spaces daily, maintaining Sani-buckets, and sanitizing all counters before and after service. Prepare added-value food products according to specifications, taste all items to adjust quality before serving, and ensure equipment like stoves and ovens are cleaned and maintained throughout the shift. Review weekly resumes, assist dishwashers, and perform deep cleaning of La Quinta's historic facilities including sweeping, mopping, and washing sinks. Shut down gas appliances at the end of each shift and check out with the Event Sous Chef. Work 8 to 10 hours standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and rotating evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications

- Own and maintain appropriate knives for the job

- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, reach, and walk 8 to 10 hours a day

- Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
