Job Summary
Sell and consult on Disney Event Group offerings for convention clients; conduct site visits, planning sessions, and client engagements across Disney resorts and venues; develop customized event solutions; collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and deliver creative event experiences that exceed client expectations; stay informed on industry trends and applicable venue guidelines to ensure compliant and memorable meetings; prepare and present contracts and supporting documentation to secure event business.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in entertainment, events, or similar presentation-driven, client-facing roles
- Knowledge of the conventions, meetings, events, hospitality, or entertainment industries
- Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions and identify opportunities to enhance Guest and Client experiences
- Strong Guest Service Orientation with a proven ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional client experiences
- Effective negotiation, influencing, and consultative selling skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, Guests, and internal partners
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other business technologies in a Windows-based environment
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Management, Event Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent work experience
