Job Summary
As Event Consultant, serve as the primary point of contact from initial inquiry through the day of the event, helping clients navigate rental options, logistics, and event details while collaborating with sales, operations, inventory, and leadership teams. Responsibilities include answering inquiries, processing orders, building client relationships, evaluating client needs and recommending rental products and design solutions, managing rental contracts via phone/email/virtual/in-person consultations, entering client information and event details into the rental management system, coordinating delivery/pickup and site logistics, and supporting office operations and showroom activities. Also promote showroom visits and design appointments, gather client feedback, and attend industry/community events to support business development. Strong emphasis on customer service, communication, organization, data accuracy, cross-team collaboration, and adaptability to fast-paced event environments. Requires availability on Saturdays, potential overtime, and occasional travel to event locations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service, active listening, verbal communication, and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and event needs
- Comfortable using business software systems, including Microsoft Outlook and rental management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and event coordination
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with individuals across diverse teams
- Independently motivated with a team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work Saturdays and overtime as needed
- Ability to sit for several hours throughout the workday
- Occasional travel to showroom or event locations, if applicable
