Job Summary
Manage all aspects of events including safe transport of food and equipment, set-up, serving meals and beverages, and take-down. Carry out the Sales Event Coordinator's plan while adapting to different venues to organize service flow. Lead a team of co-captains, servers, and bartenders, maintaining communication with the event host and creating a supportive environment. Be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise. Requires 1-2 years of catering experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and flexible hours including nights and weekends. Earn $24-26/hr plus tips.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of catering or banquet service experience
- Experience leading a team, whether in food service or other industry
- Excellent communication ability, both verbal and written
- Positive and empowering interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to work long hours (must be able to lift 50 pounds)
- Be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
