Job Summary
Welcome event guests, direct them to appropriate spaces, and approach all encounters with a professional, attentive, and service-oriented manner. Lead walk-throughs with caterers before load-in and after load-out to ensure spaces are left in their original condition. Manage load-in and load-out for caterers, handle requests for space access and setup, and adjust AV equipment including music, lighting, and projectors. Ensure bartenders serve liquor responsibly and verify TIPS/TAM licenses, while maintaining open communication between the client, caterer, and Special Events staff. Collaborate with security, Facilities, and Gust Services to ensure smooth access and a clean environment. Report any equipment damage, maintenance issues, or misuse immediately to the Special Events Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree required
- Minimum Experience Required
- Hospitality/ Event experience preferred
- Great verbal/communication skills
- A Customer Service focus
- Ability to problem solve
- Basic knowledge of AV
