Job Summary
Represent Sebring International Raceway at festivals, community events, and promotional appearances throughout Florida. Travel to single-day and multi-day events to promote the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, transporting, loading, and maintaining promotional displays while engaging attendees with the venue's history. Generate qualified sales leads by collecting email signups and assisting guests with ticket purchases. Capture photos and videos from events to support social media initiatives and provide event recap reports including attendance estimates and recommendations. Work evenings, weekends, and race weekends with frequent travel throughout the state, requiring overnight trips for select events.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from Sebring International Raceway
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods while working promotional events
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, wind and rain
- Ability to safely transport and operate promotional equipment and displays
- Frequent travel throughout the State of Florida
- Overnight travel
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and race weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Sports Management, or related field
- Previous experience in promotions, marketing, events, hospitality, customer service, or sales
- Passion for motorsports, live events, tourism, or sports entertainment
- Outstanding interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with diverse audiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while representing the organization professionally
- Comfortable speaking to large groups and engaging attendees in high-energy environments
