Job Summary
The Event Bartender engages with guests by providing excellent service, crafting cocktails, and upselling beverages, ensuring a high-quality guest experience. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness of the bar area, managing inventory, training new staff, and complying with safety and sanitation regulations. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, previous experience in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Bartenders must be knowledgeable about menu offerings and able to adhere to liquor security standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years related work experience in a high-volume, high-energy, food and beverage environment.
- Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to food, safety and sanitation.
Desired Qualifications
- Alcohol service certification.
- ServSafe certification.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and move through them quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and diligent attention to details.
- Ability to make decisions and work with a team.
