Job Summary
Technical Lead responsible for setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment in a hotel/conference center environment; troubleshoot issues quickly, ensure customer satisfaction, and mentor other Technicians. Interfaces with clients to ensure equipment works properly, uses Encore systems, assists with invoices, and contributes to delivering world-class service. Requires High School diploma (associate degree preferred), 2-3+ years in customer service/hospitality and 2-3+ years AV experience, Technical 1-Star certification for internal applicants or certification within 60 days for external applicants, valid driver’s license, potential DOT requirements, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Work location includes hotel/convention-center venues with irregular hours and on-call status; travel between venues may be involved.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience required
- Internal applicants must be Technical 1-Star Certified; External applicants must obtain within 60 days of start date
- A valid driver’s license required for team members operating Company vehicles
- DOT requirement may need to be met if applicable
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
