Event and party host

Event and party host role at Michaels in Des Peres, MO. Responsibilities include delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with finding products, executing fast, accurate checkouts with cash handling, participating in truck unloading and merchandising duties, supporting omnichannel processes (BOPIS and Ship From Store), promoting and enrolling customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing voice-of-customer surveys, and adhering to SOPs and safety standards. Cross-training in Custom Framing sales/production and performing store-in-stock optimization, AD sets, and general store recovery are also included. Requires standing for long periods, ability to lift heavy boxes, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings in a climate-controlled public retail environment.
