Job Summary
Adjust machines to achieve production goals and troubleshoot complex processing problems with minimal assistance. Collaborate with machine operators to prepare production lines, answer questions, and provide general direction while determining priorities to meet plant objectives. Set production schedules based on lead time and efficiency, ensure maintenance follows the Preventative Maintenance Plan, and actively participate in identifying continuous improvement initiatives. Cross-train on all production areas including safety and equipment. Requires four to seven years of related experience and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- Four to seven years' related experience and/or training
- Forklift Certification
- Proficient in Windows and MS Office products (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Positive team player
- Knowledge of area operations and related safe work practices/procedures and demonstrated ability to coordinate work activities
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs
