Job Summary
Provide weekly individual therapy and facilitate therapeutic groups for adult clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Use the LIGHT model to guide clinical decision-making in assessment, education, and counseling while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Monitor service utilization, coordinate care with internal and external providers, and maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. Ensure compliance with authorization and billing requirements for Michigan's PIHP system. Maintain client confidentiality and participate in case conferences. This full-time role operates 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday at our Plymouth location.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Licensure (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, etc.)
- CADC, CAADC, or MCBAP Development Plan
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in substance use disorder counseling
- Training in trauma-informed care
- Experience treating co-occurring mental health disorders
- Familiarity with authorization processes for Michigan's PIHP system
