Job Summary
Administer medications and treatments per facility policy, record and restock inventories, and process discontinued medications as directed. Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure. Observe resident behavior, report condition changes to supervisors, and review written care plans. Complete necessary forms, charts, and reports, and report any administration errors. Assist with resident care as needed and perform other duties as requested. Requires Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry certification and standardized medication administration training. Previous TMA experience preferred. Must lift 50 lbs. Schedule includes 2:00pm-10:00pm with rotating weekends. Part-time or full-time options available.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a standardized medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel in nursing homes through a Minnesota postsecondary educational institution
- Current certification and listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for consideration
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Previous experience as a TMA
