Job Summary

Set up medications, perform narcotic counts, and administer treatments while monitoring vital signs and weighing residents. Document medical changes, order prescriptions, and manage expired drugs for destruction. Assist residents with activities of daily living, grooming, toileting, and meal service, including answering call lights and making rounds. Escort residents to dining, clean up incidents, and provide tours to families. Maintain confidentiality and communicate with staff, doctors, and families regarding resident conditions. Work full-time evening shifts with some weekend and holiday coverage.

Required Qualifications

  • Certification in medication administration
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Must be able to lift residents in excess of 100 pounds with assistance
