Job Summary
Evening Shift Manager oversees the custodial contract at the assigned site for the shift from 1:30pm to 10:00pm, coordinating supervisors, ensuring contract requirements are met, training staff, evaluating performance, maintaining schedules and daily/weekly/monthly reports, onboarding new employees, and enforcing safety and quality standards. Requires strong interpersonal skills and respect for persons with disabilities, with responsibilities including overseeing time schedules, correcting substandard procedures, designing training programs, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent; two years of supervisory cleaning operations experience; CPR/First Aid and OSHA training, knowledge of green cleaning principles, and ability to manage multiple tasks and safety/compliance requirements. Essential personnel, valid driver’s license with three years of validity, and ability to work a flexible schedule are required. Salary is paid at $75,927.33 annually.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years recent supervisory experience in directing cleaning operations for buildings of similar size
- Knowledge of building service management and relevant equipment/chemicals
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Knowledge of green cleaning principles and CIMS certification requirements
- Knowledge of regulatory standards, hospital standards, and facility management
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods
- Ability to drive legally with a valid license for at least 3 years
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification preferred
