Job Summary
Evening Nurse Supervisor overseeing weekend nursing staff in a nursing/geriatric care setting. The role focuses on providing care and compassion to patients, acting as a positive teammate during onboarding of new teammates, and supervising weekend nursing staff consistent with CARE values. Requires active RN or LPN licensure, a nursing degree from an accredited program, two years of direct patient-care experience, and at least one year of supervisory/management experience, plus current CPR certification. The position emphasizes delivering patient-centered care and leadership within the nursing team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current active state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Two years nursing experience providing direct care in long-term care, acute care, restorative or geriatric nursing setting
- One-year supervisory/management experience with direct care staff
- Current CPR Certification
- Demonstrates CARE values to residents, family members, customers and staff
