Job Summary
Evening Nurse Supervisor: The Unit Manager will supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the 3pm–11pm shift at Avante at Ocala Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local standards while maintaining high-quality care. Must be a licensed LPN or RN in good standing, age 18+, able to read/write English, and capable of supervising others. Prior supervisory experience or training is required, along with current CPR certification. Role emphasizes nursing leadership, regulatory compliance, and a team-focused approach within a long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Completion of secondary education or otherwise show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner.
- Must speak and understand English
- Must be able to supervise and instruct others.
- Previous supervisory experience or completion of appropriate supervisory training program, or as required by state law.
- Must maintain current CPR certification.
