Job Summary
Blend delicious smoothies according to recipe tickets and rings up orders while handling payments. Greet and engage guests to ensure their nutrition and fitness goals are met, offering product information and assistance with selections. Properly prep fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids while performing opening, closing, and store checklist duties. Operate the blender and POS cashier system, move boxes up to 55 lbs, and maintain food safety standards in the walk-in refrigerator and freezer. Show up on time for shifts, balancing personal life without interference to work schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Energetic and dynamic team members who are excited about health and fitness
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to connect and communicate with guests, with a guest comes first attitude
- Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or frozen products, and powdered substances, including, but not limited to, strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds), milk, soy, proteins, trains and spices without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety
- Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements
- Ability to keep the store clean and follow food safety regulations
- Ability to operate a blender and POS cashier system
- Ability to move boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs throughout the store
- Ability to position self to bend, reach and scoop through assigned shifts
- Ability to be mobile in a reach-in or walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
- Shows up on time for work
- Balances personal life without interference to their work schedule
- Approaches tasks with a positive attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Food service experience preferred, but not required
