Job Summary

GFT Ready Mix is hiring an Evening/Night Heavy Duty Mechanic/Field Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines. Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, ability to work flexible hours, and a clean MVR.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of field heavy duty diesel mechanic experience
  • Clean MVR
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, and at least 2 Saturdays a month
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Pass a background check
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong after treatment, engine rebuild, and diagnostic experience
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Self-starter

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient with Mack trucks
  • Basic to intermediate electrical experience
  • Diagnostic software experience (Tech Tool, J Pro, Cummins)
