Job Summary
Ensure cleanliness of meat and seafood cases, storage areas, and work zones by removing hazardous debris, sweeping floors, and keeping surfaces free of spills. Stock meat and seafood cases with proper presentation, facing, and organization while verifying tag and pricing accuracy. Inspect product rotation to identify expired stock, receive and log shipments for temperature and quality, and monitor point-of-purchase signs for promotional materials. Assist customers with inquiries and product selection, respond to inquiries positively, and operate equipment such as knives, scales, and pallet jacks. Prepare various meat and seafood products using appropriate ingredients and cooking times, maintain proper temperatures during production, and accurately weigh and label items. Participate in pre-inventory preparation, back stock, and rotating cooler and freezer items while adhering to all procedural guidelines and safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency degree
- Must maintain the highest level of customer service at all times
