Job Summary
The Evening Manager is responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the store during evening hours, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient staff performance. Core responsibilities include maintaining store cleanliness, optimal product freshness, implementing safety programs, and managing security standards. The role requires strong leadership skills, effective delegation of tasks, and the ability to provide coaching to staff. A minimum of one year of management experience in retail and high school education is required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of management experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make critical decisions and provide effective leadership
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.) approximately thirty percent (30%) of the time
- Ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in grocery aisles
- Ability to operate a pallet jack, step carts, and the 'Big Joe'
- Ability to stand upright for most of your scheduled work shift
