Job Summary
The Evening Manager oversees all store operations during evening hours in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient store performance. Responsibilities include managing store personnel, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, optimizing product freshness and merchandising, implementing fire and safety programs, and adhering to company policies. The role requires a minimum of one year of management experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to make critical decisions, and physical capability to handle merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of management experience in a retail environment is required.
- Must possess the ability to make critical decisions and to provide effective leadership.
- Must possess excellent communication skills in order to deal with customers and other employees.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.) approximately thirty percent (30%) of the time.
- Must have the ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in the grocery aisles for proper storage.
