Evening Manager

Job Summary
The Evening Manager is responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the grocery store during the evening in the absence of the store manager. Key responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, delegating duties effectively, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, overseeing product freshness and merchandising, implementing fire and safety protocols, and upholding security standards. Candidates must have a high school education, a minimum of 1 year in a management role within retail, and possess critical decision-making and leadership abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of a high school education
- At least 1 year of management experience in a retail environment
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.) approximately thirty percent (30%) of the time
- Ability to retrieve and place merchandise on top racks in grocery aisles
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and step carts
Desired Qualifications
- College education is helpful but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make critical decisions and provide effective leadership
