Job Summary
As the Evening Manager, you will manage all aspects of the store during evening hours in the absence of the store manager, ensuring customer satisfaction and effective delegation of duties. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, overseeing product freshness, implementing safety programs, and greeting customers. A minimum high school education is required along with at least 1 year of management experience in a retail setting, combined with leadership, communication skills, and physical capability to handle merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of management experience in a retail environment is required.
- Must possess excellent communication skills in order to deal with customers and other employees.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.) approximately thirty percent (30%) of the time.
- Must have the ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in the grocery aisles for proper storage.
- Must have the ability to operate a pallet jack, step carts, and the 'Big Joe'.
