Job Summary
Conduct regular inspections, repairs, and light maintenance on production equipment while troubleshooting issues and setting up new machinery. Interpret blueprints, perform basic machinist skills with vertical mills and lathes, and execute welding and fabrication tasks. Document all work orders and preventive maintenance in the EAM system, provide daily end-of-shift reports to supervisors, and maintain a clean work environment. Perform daily housekeeping and assist in training others on machine repairs. This evening shift role (Tuesday–Friday, 4:00pm–2:00am) supports Marvin's manufacturing of premium windows, doors, and TruStile products.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of three years related experience and/or training
- Forklift license
- Aerial lift platform license
- Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Basic understanding of welding and fabrication
- Ability to perform basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and a lathe
- Ability to interpret blueprints and part drawings
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related-technical field
