Job Summary
Conduct evening inspections and repairs on production equipment, utilizing specialty tools to troubleshoot machinery and make decisions on effective repair strategies. Set up new equipment, interpret blueprints and part drawings, and perform basic machinist skills with vertical mills and lathes. Document all work orders and preventive maintenance in the EAM system while maintaining clean work areas. Assist in machine repairs, train others on repair procedures, and provide daily shift reports to supervisors. Requires forklift and aerial lift licenses, three years of related experience, and welding/fabrication knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of three years related experience and/or training
- Forklift license
- Aerial lift platform license
- Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Basic understanding of welding and fabrication
- Ability to perform basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and a lathe
- Ability to interpret blueprints and part drawings
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related-technical field
